September 23, 2017 was a gorgeous fall day. I had the pleasure of spending this day with Krista and Morgan and their awesome family and friends. I met up with Krista at The Seelbach, one of Louisville’s amazing vintage hotels, where she and her bridal party prepared for the events to come. Once ready, we set up a first look above The Seelbach’s Grand Staircase in their lobby! Morgan was all smiles from ear to ear!
The day just got better from there. We walked around Downtown Louisville for a while, enjoying the amazing architecture, before spending the rest of our evening at The Gillespie. The Gillespie was amazing! Super classy venue for any event you may have!
I can’t thank Krista and Morgan enough for allowing R.T. Photography to be a part of it all! I am truly honored! Below is a little something they wrote up. It’s their story together and definitely worth the read! Check out their amazing blog and then head back over to Facebook and leave them both a congratulatory message!
Here is the their love story:
“Morgan and I’s story started just over 10 years ago, when we were both seniors in high school. We met through mutual friends at a party and dated very briefly, but went our separate ways after graduation. I went off to college at Ball State University, while Morgan stayed in Evansville and went to University of Southern Indiana. After about seven years of both doing our own thing, Morgan sent me a message on Facebook, asking how I was and what I had been up to. We started chatted, then texting, and he finally convinced me to agree to meet up for our first date (for the second time). We were pretty much inseparable after that, until about three months in, I decided to take a new job and move to Louisville. After about 6 months of long-distance dating, Morgan took the leap of faith and decided to move to Louisville as well. We loved getting to explore a new city together and meet new friends. We have come to love Louisville and love our life here. Louisville is where we fell in love and couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else. We actually decided on our first dance “Greatest Love Story” by LANCO because it basically tells our story of how we met and then re-met. ”
