Carrie + Benjamin Stacy – Hermitage Farm

October 7, 2017 was a amazing fall day.  Despite off and on rain, the gorgeous Hermitage Farm provided an amazing backdrop for a Carrie Salmon and Benjamin Stacy’s picture perfect Kentucky wedding.

I met up with Carrie and Benjamin at a beautiful Historic home that sat on Hermitage Farm in Goshen, KY.  A photographer couldn’t ask for too much more from a venue than what The Hermitage has to offer.  It’s picturesque in every direction you turn, and when you add Carrie and Ben and their amazing style to the scene, it was absolutely perfect!

Thank you both for inviting R.T. Photography to be a part of it all!  Truly an honor to spend the day with your family and friends!  Below is a short write up of Carrie and Benjamin’s story together written from Carrie’s perspective.  Take a moment to read before looking through their Blog.  Then head back over to Facebook and leave them a congratulatory message!

Ben and I met shortly after one of my girl’s nights out where I pointed him out to a friend saying, “That’s my kind of guy . . .”.  Of course, little did I know that he would be more than my kind of guy, but be the one I would marry.  We both worked at the legendary Miami University bar, Skipper’s Pub, and our relationship grew while sharing shifts behind the bar.  We ended up Miami Mergers and Skipper’s Mergers.  Benjamin proposed three years after that girls’ night out at the Christmas Eve service in his father’s church.  A wonderful proposal I had always dreamed of.  We spent the next 18 months planning a wedding that perfectly complimented Benjamin’s upbringing on a 200 acre farm and my Kentucky heritage.  October 7th, 2017 was the night of a lifetime and we are excited to continue our adventure together!
