Here is their love story from Hollye’s perspective:
“Paul and I briefly met at a cookout in 2014 and then randomly reconnected in the spring of 2016. Paul decided then we were going to date. I put up a good fight. However, Paul was persistent. He constantly told me, “I am dating you and just waiting for you to date me back”. I finally gave in 3 months later and met him for drinks. The rest is history. Over the last 3 years we have blended a family with 3 wonderful children, made A LOT of memories, supported each other through grief, had so much fun, and celebrated many successes. I cannot imagine having anyone one else by my side. “
Their day could have not have been possible without these awesome vendors:
Wedding Venue: St. John United Methodist Church
On June 1, 2019, Hollye and Paul made the blending of their family official and I had the pleasure of being there to capture it all. Hollye and I both grew up in Shelby County, Kentucky and found our way to Oldham County in our adult years. I was super excited to shoot this wedding in a beautiful spot in our county, that offers a view overlooking the Ohio River from one of the tee boxes. Hollye and Paul and their wonderful children, along with the rest of their family and friends, made for a joyous day all around. Congratulations to the Edwards’ and thank you for choosing me to document your big day!
