On May 16, 2015 I headed out to Long Ridge Farm to photograph Lindsay and Dewey, along with all their friends and family, as they became one family! After all the rain stopped it turned into a perfect day. I’m always amazed when a bride doesn’t let weather, and for that matter the many other changes that come with a rainy outdoor wedding, get her down. Lindsay took everything in stride and couldn’t wait to say “I Do”!
The venue was decorated beautifully by Wildflowers and by all the DIY decorations Lindsay and her family prepared. I love the personalized cigars and Best Day Ever coozies, which was an ongoing theme throughout the day! I would also have to say Jafri’s served the best food I’ve had at any wedding!
Then there was the reception! I mean who has a Thriller dance off at their wedding? I felt as though I was watching a movie the entire reception. There were 2 separate choreographed dances and just about ever song that came had on a handful of guests and wedding party members that knew the whole dance to it! The highlight of the whole night for me was when the Blacketer family danced to “No Parking on the Dance Floor” by Midnight Star! AMAZING!!
I hope you all enjoy Lindsay and Dewey’s blog! There is still another round of photos yet to come. There will be around 1,300 photos total. If you posed with Lindsay and Dewey or with anyone else they will be in this next round. Make sure you like R.T.Photography on Facebook to see the release of this next round!
