Kristin + Alex Darnell – The Gramercy

On September 2, 2017,  I had the privilege of spending the day with Kristin and Alex as they prepared to spend the rest of their lives together!  They saw each other for the first time as Bride and Groom on the grand staircase of The Seelbach Hotel.  As nervous as any Groom can be in this situation, Alex held it together for a great first look!

After hanging around downtown Louisville for some photos we headed to Saint James Church on Bardstown Rd.  “I Do’s” were said and we all headed back downtown to The Gramercy to dance the night away!

It was an amazing day from start to finish.  Thank you both for allowing R.T. Photography to be a part of it all!  Before scrolling down to view their images, take a few more minutes and check out their story as a couple!  Thank you all and enjoy!

Kristin and Alex met in 2013 when both were living in Louisville. The connection was instantaneous, like finding a long lost friend. A year later, Kristin’s career took her to Cincinnati, but she and Alex endured. They spent the next few years exploring two cities and planning a future together. Alex proposed on Valentine’s Day in 2016 and Kristin happily accepted.  And then, as fate would have it, the stars aligned, just in time for the wedding. Kristin got the opportunity to move home. Alex and Kristin are now looking forward to building a life together in Louisville as Mr. & Mrs. and are excited to find out what adventure comes next.
